INVESTMENT-GRADE SOVEREIGN

A Foundation of Credit Quality
Uruguay’s S&P investment-grade credit rating and stable outlook reinforce its appeal for long-term wealth diversification in South America. A Destination for Global Capital
Uruguay has a long history of welcoming foreign investment, supporting economic growth and benefiting local communities. InvestUruguay: Stable Assets. Passive Income.
Productive Hard Asset Diversification Beyond the U.S.
In a period of elevated U.S. asset valuations and economic uncertainty, traditional portfolios can become increasingly concentrated. Stocks, bonds, real estate, and digital assets may all be exposed to many of the same domestic forces.
InvestUruguay looks beyond crowded markets to overlooked, stable economies where productive hard assets can offer income, diversification, and long-term growth potential.

WHY FARMLAND
More Demand for Food. Greater Pressure on the Land.
Productive farmland sits at the intersection of two long-term needs: feeding a growing world population and protecting the soil that makes farming possible. The challenge is not simply finding more hectares. It is keeping existing land healthy and productive for the long-term.
A Resource Under Pressure
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) projects in its 2025 land and water report that agriculture will need to produce 50% more food, feed, and fibre by 2050 than in 2012. Over the past 60 years, agricultural production has tripled, while agricultural land has expanded by only 8%.
Farming Heritage + Stewardship.
Uruguay’s strong farming tradition meets our network of experienced local agricultural operators. We develop farm-specific plans that balance productivity with long-term land stewardship, using crop rotation, soil recovery, while deploying modern technology.
Land quality matters as much as land area. FAO reports that more than 60% of human-induced land degradation occurs on agricultural land, including cropland and pasture. That does not mean 60% of farmland is degraded, or that global farmland acreage is uniformly shrinking. It reinforces why soil health, water, and management belong at the centre of due diligence.
For investors, well-managed farmland offers participation in agricultural activity alongside ownership of a tangible asset. Farming may generate income while the land retains potential for long-term appreciation. Both depend on the property, operating performance, costs, and market conditions; neither is guaranteed.
